IRIS SILICA
- IRISSIL is a high purity washed SILICA SAND for foundry industry application as per IS Standard IS 1987.2002. IRISSIL washed, dried and screened SILICA SAND is highly recommended for high-integrity casting for defects free castings in core and moulding application in steel, cast iron, ferrous and non-ferrous foundries.
- IRISSIL SILICA SAND is extensively utilized in foundries, construction, glass making, oil and water filtration, sand blasting, industrial casting also finds widespread applications in the hydraulic fracturing process.
- IRISFILT SILICA SAND used for water filtration has a sub-round to round shape, making it the perfect filtration media to capture solids suspended in water. Due to the high silica content in the sand, it is also very durable and hard-wearing. That allows it to be precisely graded for efficient filtering. SILICA SAND is used to filter and clean Portable water filters and pool filter and sewage treatment plants. It is a highly effective filter media as it holds back precipitates containing impurities. Filter sand size, angularity and hardness are the important SILICA SAND characteristics to ensure proper filtering.
